1) I am in between sizes; how shoulder I order?
Size UP! Soleni Shoes have a pretty precise fit and generally run about ½ size small.
2) Is there a break-in period?
YES! Just like with any other leather shoe or boot, there is always a short break-in period. The leather may feel a bit stiff at first, but over the first couple of weeks of wear, it will soften quite a bit, and stretch up to 10%. Colder weather can also cause leathers to stiffen, so keep this in mind.
3) How do I know if I need a medium or a wide width?
Consider a wide if you want to wear an ultra-thin no-show sock, have bunions or forefoot problems, have a medium or wider forefoot.
4) Will there be more styles? What about sizes?
YES! As we grow, we will definitely have more seasonal styles, and plan to add smaller and larger sizes.
5) I have plantar fasciitis, will these help?
Yes! Our trademarked 3-point-ortho-technology targets many common orthopedic foot conditions. If you have advanced neuropathy or have undergone multiple foot surgeries, please reach out and we will advise as best as we can (these may not be the best shoes for you).
6) Are the orthotics removable?
Yep! If you have an Rx orthotic, feel free to just replace ours if you prefer. Our insoles have structured arch support and heel cupping built in.
7) Is there a more precise size guide?
Yep! We have a printable sizing tool, as well as a measurement guide. Feel free to use both or reach out to Lindsey@solenishoes.com for any guidance!

First heard about this local company in our newspaper and was very interested. I couldn't refuse to finally give the Marie a try with a Black Friday discount. The shoes arrived promptly and I was impressed with the quality, 2 sets of inserts and a beautiful cloth shoe bag. Choosing my size was made much easier by printing out the measuring chart when ordering. Even though it was recommended to size up with this style I went with my normal 9 because it comes in wide. The first try on they were tight in the toe and upper curved area, but plenty wide. I stretched them with a wood shoe stretcher and that helped. I have extra sensitive feet due to bunions and Morton's Neromas. With each subsequent wear they have become better and better. I have received many compliments on how cute, beautiful and dressy they look. I love them and the fact I am supporting a local company here in the Boise, Idaho area.

Absolutely NO break in time. I love the measure your feet print out. I ordered 10W. I usually wear a 9.5 M. I’m so very pleased about this design and concept. The fact the shoes have an extremely comfortable foot bed is a huge plus. The height of the toe box rubs a bit, but I’m wearing socks for now. They look pretty cute with socks BTW. Lastly, the sole absorbs the heel strike making each step comfy.

Ahhhh, finally, the holy grail of shoes for my feet. I've always had wide feet, but bunions and plantar fasciitis have added new joys to shoe shopping. I feel like I had been relegated to the "old lady" shoes to accommodate all of my needs. No longer! The Ruth is darling, comfortable, and perfect for my needs. Just waiting for that mustard to come back in stock! And maybe a fun red?!? One request - the white band on the non-black shoes make them look a little more casual - going with a tan or a cork that matches the heel would create a more streamlined, dressy look. :-) Thank you!
